Day 10 of our Leopard hunt. Balonne River, Dirranbandi to Coomera... Leopard country!!!!

Had a late start to our day today, it was just so peaceful sitting by the Balnooe River.

Ian had a go with a yabbie net, but while we saw a lot of fish activity where he cast the net to, we weren't lucky with the yabbies.

Jennine took this time to practice flying the drone, and if you have a spare 2 minutes you can see the unedited result (still have to learn the fine art of editing).

Our journey today took us through Boomi, Thallon, Goondiwindi, Yelarbon, then a twisty drive through Cunningham's Gap, Boomah and Beau Dessert, around Tamborine Mountain to finally arrive at Coomera.

We were a very late arrival to the caravan park at Coomera the "Coomera Holiday Village", and boy did I pick a beauty!!! Right at the Junction of the M1 Pacific Highway and one of the on-ramps... we are less than 50m from the M1... not a pleasant night ahead I fear!!

Recommendation: Avoid the Coomera Holiday Village like the plague! It would be more peaceful sleeping on a train track.
